Infra-Red Fork Slot Sensors

MRK Engineers have developed Infrared Fork Slot Sensors. These sensors incorporate modern techniques of modulated infra-red beam and consist of transmitter and receiver mounted in the same housing. The solid state through beam design provides positive detection of opaque objects and is not affected by vibration or ambient light conditions. The fork sensors are available in DC with PNP or NPN having NO or NC contacts. These sensors have widths ranging from 3 mm, 20 mm, and 50 mm, and depth varying from 8 mm to 45 mm. They are suitable to work on voltage from 10 to 30 V. A fork sensor with width of 3 mm that can be mounted on M 18 tubular synthetic is also available. These sensors have wide applications in non-contact sensing, switching, controlling and wherever there is need for automation.
