Inductive Sensors

Inductive Proximity Switches are non-contact type electronic sensors ideally suited for sensing of metallic objects. These sensors are resistant to dust, humidity & oil. Inductive proximity sensor generates high frequency oscillations & any metallic object, which enters active area results, eddy current in the object and then stops oscillation that triggers output stage. Continuous development in the field has led to new application such as distance measurement with analogue types. Inductive sensors are available in the sensing range of 0.5 mm to 30 mm & different packages like Barrel Type, Flat Type, Box Type, Slot Type, and PCB Mounting.

 

Capacitive Sensors

Capacitive Sensors are non-contact type electronic sensors ideally suited for sensing of metallic as well as non-metallic objects. With adjustable sensitivity almost any object can be detected with desired reliability. The primary function element of capacitive proximity sensors is high frequency oscillator with floating electrode in the transistor base circuit. When object appears in active area, high frequency oscillation begins and results DC signal which triggers output stage. These sensors are available in barrel housing both NPN & PNP types. 

 

Photo Sensors

Photo Sensors are indispensable components of modern automated production processes. Optimum combination of precision optics with electronic and a rugged housing together result in providing versatile reflex & through beam sensors. Katlax Photo Sensors are basically divided into two main categories. Photo sensors are available in different packages like Barrel Type, Slot Type, Box Type, Miniature type, etc.

 

Through Beam Type Sensor

Through Beam Type Photo Sensors are available with sensing range up to 5 meters. Emitter and Receiver are in separate housings facing each other with their optical axes matched. Sensor switches whenever light beam is interrupted. These are ideal for monitoring doors & gates, counting and monitoring objects over large distances.

 

Reflex Type Diffused Beam Sensors

Diffused Beam Photo Sensors are available with a sensing range up to 0.2 m. These are ideal for distinguish and sorting of objects according to their volumes and degree of reflection.

 

Retro Reflex Type Sensors

Retro Reflex Sensors are ideal for detection of height of stacked objects and controlling positioned objects on conveyers. They may be metallic or plastic with cylindrical, flat, slot or customized mounting certified for IP67, short circuit protection, over load, polarity reversal protection. These sensors are available with the range for 2 meters.

 

Magnetic Sensors

Magnetic Reed Switch where Magnet operates Reed Switch when it comes in range of magnetic field of permanent magnet. Magnet is placed in one arm and second arm houses Reed Switch. The typical application is Door Locking and Interlocking signal in control panels or where tampering of any door application is involve. This has tremendous application in safety locking system in low cost automation.
