Associate Electronics offers Holiday Detectors, SD-120. It conforms the pipeline field proven cases with advanced technology in solid-state circuitry that is simplified and more efficient with reliability. Features: its range of voltage from 8 kV to 30 kV in 12 steps, allows to set the voltage exactly to the desired level for the coating under inspection, any pipe size from 2" up to 60" whatever the coating may be - somastic, tar, asphalt extruded coats, tapes or thin film epoxy coating; one has the control of voltage setting that is required; inter changeable batteries easily slip into position with a snap that announces positive contact, and a secure lock in position; two batteries and a universal charger are part of the package, for continuous service, one battery is kept for charging while the other powers the unit; and more efficient circuitry means reduced current drain and prolonged battery life and cost saving. Specifications: operated by single 6 V, 4 AH maintenance free battery; output voltage 8 kV to 30 kV pulse type; size - 7" (W) x 8.5" (L) x 2.5" (H); and weight with battery approximately 2.00 kg.
