Gravity Feed Metal Detector, metaltrap03, is an eddy current based digital metal detection system designed for pharmaceutical, chemical and food industry for detecting metal contamination in powder and granules. The rejection mechanism used is pneumatically operated cow bell type diverter as it is foolproof and allow product containing large lumps to be checked without danger of blockage. Features: used digital technique hence precise, fast and easy set up of controls; 100 product memory; diagnostics available on LCD display; set parameter retention on loss of power; buzzer and LED indication on detection of metal contamination; security levels provided; and LCD bar graph/numeric display to monitor noise and signal reject time stamping. Optional: handheld terminal for data storage and transfer, computer and printer connectivity, and continuous online self-check monitoring system.
