Freon/Halogen Refrigerant Leak Detector

Kusam-Meco has introduced a multipurpose Freon/Halogen Refrigerant Leak Detector (Portable Gas Detector), Model KM-5480, by using high speed low power consumption semiconductor processor, characterised by high sensitivity strong interference resistance and intelligence simulation. It has three (Red, Yellow and Green) LED displays. This gas detector detects R11, R113, R134A, R409A, R410A, Freon, alcohol, toluene and acetone gases. Start-up preheating time is approx 60 seconds. Alarm frequency is 2.713 kHz/30 ms, 2.713 kHz/100 ms. For R134A, if the refrigerant is >100 ppm, the yellow LED will glow, > 80 ppm, the red LED will light, alarm type is sound/light and alarm time is <20 seconds. Operating temperature is 20°C~70°C with < 90% RH humidity. KM 5480 gas detector is widely used for the detection of halogen gases in industrial and civil workplaces. It is widely applied in generation and storage of Freon, alcohol, NH4 toluene and acetone in refrigeration, automobile refrigerating, chemical engineering and pharmaceutical industries, and repair, maintenance, refilling and leakage detection of civil use products such as air-conditioners, electric refrigerators and automobiles. Refrain from using in workplace with high concentration of flammable gas and avoid repeating switch On/Off operation in such environment. This test is used at high sensitive areas, recovery time is 30~60 seconds after test. If the temperature is lower, then the recovery time is longer. Take care to use it gently; do not splash water on the detector. It uses high performance alkaline battery to ensure perfect operation. It operates on 2 x 1.5 V AA R6P battery.
