Precision Operations Systems offers Explosive Detector, Model MO-8-TVIN. This is a handheld (1.35 kg), automatic and real time explosive detector (sensitivity 0.01 part per billion) that can detect the presence of explosives residues in vapour, liquid and solid form. The MO-8-TVIN is capable of detecting military and industrial explosives such as TNT, NG, PETN, RDX, C4 and their mixtures. The equipment has zero consumables, a warm up time of 10 seconds and gives audio as well as visual alarms. The equipment can also be connected to the computer via Bluetooth and can be used with an explosive ordnance disposal (EOD) robot for remote detection. Advantages: real time detection, no consumables (no recurring expenses), warm up time from cold start 10 seconds and can be used remotely on EOD robot.
