Displacement Transducer For Hydraulic Cylinders

Ekaah offers special displacement sensors used in hydraulic cylinders, manufactured by H F Jensen of Denmark. These are based on a concept where the sensing element consists of only one coil. Special winding technique had made it possible to obtain very good linearity. The bushing supporting the coil tube in piston rod and the bearing, which centres the core in the bore liner are made of PTFE for low friction and long life. Provision is made to ensure that the oil passes in and around the measuring system. Several housings are available to optimise mechanical installation.
