DataMan 8050

Cognex offers Dataman 8050 and 8050X hand held barcode readers, which are designed with a rugged polycarbonate housing to handle harsh factory floor conditions. Featuring Cognex 1DMax+ with Hotbars barcode reading algorithms, the bar code readers, measuring 210 x 115 x 85 mm, feature a 752 x 480 global shutter sensor, integrated LEDs with near-far optics. The bar code readers also feature DataMan Setup Tool software, which enables imaging viewing, Java scripting, and data formatting options. Available with both corded and wireless communication modules, the DataMan 8050 Series supports industry-standard communications including USB, USB Keyboard, RS-232 and Bluetooth wireless communication to a base station. Built for tough work environments, the DataMan 8050 Series has durable and industrial product features as well as a range of industrial cables and accessories to complement the product. Two model options highlight DataMan 8050X bar code reader, which is capable of reading 2-D DPM codes as well as 1-D and 2-D label-based codes quickly and easily. The DataMan 8050 barcode reader, at the other end, is optimised for reading 1-D and 2-D label-based barcodes with the fastest performance. With field interchangeable communications modules, one reader can be configured to meet specific communication needs. Available with both corded and wireless modules, the DataMan 8050 barcode reader is constructed to handle the harshest environments. Other industrial features include – lanyard hook for easy retractor mounting, bright-centralised aiming tool for clear targeting, and loud beeper and indicator lights provide operator feedback.
