Current Transducers

Ashe Controls offers Current Transducers, TX-120. It is an AC current signal transducer that accepts standard AC current either directly, or from the secondary of a current transformer (CT). It provides a buffered and isolated DC current output (4 to 20 mA) with enhanced load driving capacity. It finds wide usage in single loop or distributed process measurement and control applications. Functionally, it is essentially a signal transducer, providing buffering and filtering of the input signal from transients, then converting it into a variable analog output signal, which is isolated from the input. The output signal is linear with respect to the Input signal and is galvanically and optically isolated to a potential level of 1.5 KV. It operates on 110 or 230 Volts AC mains power supply or DC power supply of 20 to 70 V DC. Optional features include signal repeating (multiple outputs), digital indication facility, control relay outputs, etc. It is available in standard and rugged industrial grade enclosures in DIN Rail / Wall-mounting execution, or optionally in field mounting version with IP-65 protected weather-proof enclosures, or in CMRI certified explosion-proof enclosures. It has inherent advantages like immunity to mechanical shocks, dust, ambient temperature, humidity and mildly corrosive ambiences. It can carry a life-time warranty for satisfactory performance. Signal conditioners, isolators, transducers and transmitters for the conversion, amplification and isolation of analog and digital signals are also offered.
