Capacitive Sensor

MRK Engineers have developed a new capacitive sensor. This is a rugged, environmentally protected transducer that detects objects at close range without contacting them. This incorporates a reliable solid state switch which turns on (NO type) and off (NC type) when the object moves into the detecting range. The is the only sensor that detects metallic as well as non-metallic solids, fluid, water, wood, glass, PVC, powder, granules, salt, paper, etc. The sensor is provided with a pre-set facility that can be adjusted depending upon the material to be sensed. It is available in AC or DC versions, with various configurations. The company also provides power supply controller having input of 230 volt and output suitable for the sensor with 1 NO + 1 NC contact, so that selection is possible as per the clients' requirement.
