Acceleration & Velocity Sensors

In the SSA/GSV/GSA sensors, the most suitable one can be selected depending on the application. Force balance and piezoresistive accelerometers and velocity sensors (geophones) are available. All sensors are housed in a compact case for external or internal use. The sealed cast aluminium housing contains a water resistant connector or a sealed cable inlet. The housing is also equipped with a single bolt mount with three levelling screws. A current loop (0 to 20 mA) to allow long distance transmission and to extend the signal range is an option. All sensors are offered in borehole versions too. New in the accelerometer line is the SSA-XXXSLN super low noise series servo accelerometer which provides a 144 dB typical dynamic range with a noise floor of less than 0.5 mg.
