Bettinelli Automation Components Pvt Ltd offers Rotary Chassis Sub-Systems, a unique technical resource for assisting automation and assembly machine builders who have a need for synchronised mechanical motion. The company works with machine builders to determine the optimal machine design and station layout based on their requirements, and provides full engineering support and develop a complete timing chart and acceptance model or drawing. A major benefit of using a synchronised chassis subsystem is that once everything is timed together (synchronised) it is fixed and does not need to be adjusted. Also if a variable frequency drive is utilised, then only one control is needed for several different stations. All chassis systems are designed for each individual drive to be coupled to a single piece line shaft for simple and depending performance in the field. Using a rotary indexing drive at the heart of the machine, the company can provide a machine chassis sub system from 6 stations to 30 stations with a dial diameter ranging from 24” to 60”. Both linear and rotary pick and place units can be used to provide up to 180° of rotary oscillation and 5.9” of vertical stroke, or 7.4” linear transfer and 5.9” of vertical stroke for pick and place requirements. Pressing operations or vertical movements can also be provided, with strokes up to approximately 12” and press forces in excess of 2000 lbs all mechanically synchronised to a central line shaft. Typical chassis cycle rates are from 20 cycles per minute up to 90 cycles per minute, however by integrating more than one part/tooling per station, production rates of up to 360 per minute can be achieved.
