Pepperl+Fuchs positioners combine two devices in a single housing to form a "dual sensor" thereby simplifying installation and reducing maintenance considerably. Due to decades of experience, the company has an extensive line of sensors and actuating elements which are as Namur versions approved for hazardous areas. Sensors for installation within the "classic box" as well as sensors for "direct mounting" on the actuator are available. Customers have a choice between terminal compartments, connectors or cable connections. The valve can be controlled directly via the sensors thus reducing the amount of installation.
