Fully Automatic Routers

Schunk has launched new compact class for Routers in depanelling technology. With the ILR-1000-CL, Schunk defines a new class in fully automatic routers. Compact dimensions of just 1,000 mm in width and a highly efficient design make it the market leader in price-performance ratio. Panels with a maximum format of 250 x 430 mm can be quickly and reliably separated with it. A flexible combi-head enables all-in-one milling and gripping with the Schunk ILR-1000-CL, which means a significant reduction in investment volume. Additionally, the required milling carrier for each PCB variant can be manufactured with the router itself. This eliminates long delivery times and also reduces costs. All waste including loose parts are disposed of in a single container. After separation, the individual panels are placed on a full surface conveyor belt or in a shuttle system for further processing. The machine is equipped with a proven standard milling head with a 1.1 kW spindle. Optionally a vision system for process monitoring can be used. The fully automated Schunk ILR routers are well-known for especially stress-free depanelling. Its highly dynamic, maintenance-free Schunk linear motor drives enables high position accuracy (± 0.02 mm) and maximum process stability. They verifiably achieve an availability of over 98%.
