Automation systems

VIPA has launched the entire range of IEC-1131-3 automation systems, developed after elaborate consultations with vendors, end-users, and academics, in order to standardize the products. The range comprises of three PLC CPUs released, ie, CPU 211/212/213. Functionally all the three CPUs are identical with a difference in their memory capacity. CPUs integrated with the DP slave and integrated Ethernet port, are also available. The above CPUs can be comfortably programmed with IEC1131-3 compatible OpenPCS software. The IEC 1131-3 has following advantages: reduced waste of human resources; high level of software reusability creates a focus to problem solving; access to 3rd party modules and tools; provides tools for decomposing the problem into manageable units; flexible language selection, matching different backgrounds; less training required; high level of reusability reduces costs and increases the confidence in planning; and becomes pre requisite of end user in lots of markets.
