The company has developed automated material handling systems for the forging industry, for the following tasks: handling of stocks for the cutting machine; handling of billets after cutting; integration of billets and transport to the furnace; systems for loading of billets into the furnace (stackers and pushers); fast extractors from the furnace/induction coil; billet accept reject mechanisms; hot billet descalers; billet transfer systems from furnace to forging press; forging press to trimming press shuttles; die lubrication systems; component handling systems after trimming (catchers); flash handling systems; high speed shuttles from trim press to cooling conveyor; ‘pick & place’ arrangements to transfer the component from the shuttle to the cooling conveyor; cooling conveyors (slat type, rod type, wire mesh type, tailor made) for fast controlled cooling and slow cooling; quick die changing systems; and finishing lines for crack detection, shot blasting, finishing, oiling, painting and packing.
