Automatic Nailing System for Wooden Skids/Pallets

Autosys Engineering (P) Ltd, a pioneer automation, has recently launched an Automatic Nailing System for nailing wooden skids and pallets used in packing. The system uses 6 nailing guns, a PLC based control system and a servo + pneumatic X-Y-Z machine table to nail and produce 60-70 pallets per hour. The assembly of reapers is done manually by two operators on either side of the machine. A custom jig is provided that can be used to assemble, clamp and hold 40-50 varieties of skids of various sizes. Nail clinching plates are provided to automatically bend the nails in the middle sections. Autosys Engineering (P) Ltd provides end-to-end plant automation and turnkey project execution in a wide variety of industries and processes.
