Universal Single Loop Controller

Lectrotek Systems offers a Universal Single Loop Controller, Model µGENIE-plus, the flagship of its popular Genie-series microprocessor-based control products. It is programmable for all standard temperature/process inputs such as Pt-100 RTD/most industrial thermocouples and 4-20 mA from transmitters and provides PID control and alarm outputs for correction. Control output is site selectable in form of analog 4-20 mA or Forward-Reverse Relays to operate electric actuators of control valves/dampers or a time-proportional on-off relay. The µGENIE-plus has 2 alarms settable on absolute process value or deviation on it for failsafe high operation. RS-232 port connects it to PC- based SCADA systems. Features include built-in auto manual station, servo/open loop operation for motorised valve/dampers, linear/square root selection for DPT inputs and 2 ratio inputs for air-fuel ratio control. Other function blocks include manual bias, output limiter, PID soft start ramp, sensor burnout protection (stay put or 0-100% output).
