Temperature Controller

Microsmart Systems offers Tapman Temperature Controller, Model 4E1.
Unique features:

• In many applications the input (heat or cooling) to the system being controlled should not be switched off-on-off (or on-off-on) in quick succession
• For example a gas fired burner in an oven needs some time typically 15 sec (firing time) to actually start generating heat
• Power supply to this type of burners for less than the firing time doesn't serve any purpose and could even damage it
• To prevent fast state change of the output relay, two settings are provided 'on persistence time' and 'off persistence time'
• Once the controller decides to put the output relay on then the relay remains on for at least the time set in the on persistence time parameter, regardless of the change in the process temperature.
