The Synchronous Digital Controller, WD-202 is a compact, user-friendly, low cost controller available with in-built power module for up to 415 V/90 A AC spot welding machine. It is easy to read thumbwheel switches for setting number of welding cycles. Timings set in terms of half cycles of mains supply frequency to get better resolution. Precise time and energy control ensures consistent weld quality. It provides built-in compensation against fluctuations in the mains supply voltage.
Input supply - 230/415 V AC, 50 Hz/60 Hz; output - built-in back-to-back thyristors drive transformers up to 90a primary current; weld time: 0-99 cycles (half cycles of input supply frequency); weld energy - 0-100% adjustable by potentiometer (corresponding to firing angle of 170 degree to 30 degree); trigger - external, normally open contact; actuates at contact closure; trigger delay - 0.1 - 3.0 sec (adjustable by potentiometer); indicators - mains On, weld; and dimensions - 100 (W) x 192 (H) x 300 mm (D).
