Solid State Soft Start/Soft Stop Motor Controller

This controller unit from Nippon India is suitable for 3-phase induction motors up to 5.5 kW and has compact housing for DIN rail assembly, integrated heat sink and short circuit relays. It is combinable with power switchgear. It has UL/CSA/CE approval. .Weighing 270 grams, it is ideal for use in the protection of motor-driven machines such as pumps, compressors, lift and garage doors and other applications tvhere it relieves the power supply network by reduced starting current. The unit has individual setting for ramp-up and ramp-down time adjustable from 0.5 sec to 5 seconds. It also has an initial torque setting from 0-85% voltage at the start of the ramp-up function. LED indication is provided for showing the operating voltage/ control input voltage, and switching condition of the short circuit contacts. Other models are available in capacities for up to 22 kW applications.
