Messung Systems offers a Programmable Logic Controller, Nexgenie PLC – the Compact Genius PLC. Highlights include: connectivity via 2 serial ports – RS232/422/485/modem connectivity Modbus ready (master/slave); smart configurable digital inputs; high speed counters – 6 HSC interface – range up to 50 kHz, encoder – A, B, Z; powerful calculation capacity – floating point calculations trigonometric (Sin, Cos, Tan); and pre-emptive multitasking (coming soon). The Compact highlights: compact – expandable – flexible, expandable up to 80 I/O points; visual access window (VAW) – graphic LCD display with backlit and 4 system keys; ultra-fast CPU – 20 times faster than micro XMP8-10 PLC; consolidated storage space – 96 KB application and 32 KB data; immensely user friendly; and real time clock based control – arithmetic calculations and control. The company is the precursor of indigenous PLC technology in the automation industry in India and a distributor for Mitsubishi Electric’s range of world-class factory automation (FA) products. It has been instrumental in providing a blend of both, factory automation products such as PLCs, VFDs, HMIs, and servos from Mitsubishi Electric and international standard PLCs manufactured by them for their customers.
