Power Regulators, Thyristor

Theta Controls offers thyristor power regulators that provide several advantages in electrical heating control, and other industrial voltage/power regulator applications. They allow more accurate temperature control, lengthen heater life by 200 to 700%, and eliminate contractor maintenance problems. These regulators are available as phase angle types, with adjustable voltage, current or power limit (optional). These are suitable for infra-red and incandescent heaters, transformer loads and general heater applications where high temperature accuracy is needed. The regulators are also available as Zero-Crossing type for general heater applications. They are available in power ratings of 1 kW to 400 kW, as open chassis units (for OEM/retrofit applications) or as complete panels and turnkey systems for furnaces, process heating, etc.
