Pepperl + Fuchs (India) Pvt Ltd offers the Termex TX1107 Operator Panel that supports machine control in hazardous areas according to Zone 1 and 21 (ATEX and IECEx). It can be used for limited-space displays where no operator workstation is necessary as well as for process visualization where space is restricted. The new generation of operator panels is designed primarily for use in the chemical, pharmaceutical and oil- and gas-processing industries, in the machine construction sector, as well as in food production. The compact operator panel is equipped with a high-resolution color TFT display (800 x 400) with a 17.8 cm (7 inch) diagonal and adjustable backlight, optionally with touch functionality. Customized keyboard assignments can be individually implemented at the factory. The unit is designed for panel mounting. A mount housing made from stainless steel is additionally available. The network-capable TX1107 is equipped with the Windows 7 operating system. It is generally used in conjunction with a PLC. Comprehensive, integrated setup can also be performed remotely via the net. Both an Ethernet and a USB interface are installed. Moreover, two module slots are available for customer-specific interfaces. As modules, two TTY interfaces (exi and exe) are initially available, via which e.g., a barcode handheld can be connected. No external barrier or power supply is necessary. Beyond the display of process images, processes can be actively controlled with the Termex TX1107 operator panel. Operating pages can be conveniently created using TERMEXpro planning software. TERMEXpro is a tool for developing applications that use standardized data types according to DIN EN 61131-3. It features a PLC simulator and permits the creation of projects in up to 32 languages. The project language resources can be exported and imported again into the project following external translation.
