Delta Tau India Pvt Ltd offers Power PMAC CPU, the most powerful and most Flexible Controller from its portfolio, now integrated into this compact, panel mount format. The Power PMAC UMAC CPU can control up to 256 axes, whether through direct local control, or distributed control over a MACRO fibre optic ring, or over an EtherCat network. Delta Tau offers enough peripherals over MACRO such that the user can customise his or her system to his liking while maintaining modularity and flexibility. If desired, the user can also expand his system and add functionality as needed by means of 3rd party EtherCat devices to which Power PMAC can communicate via its EtherCat module. Features: Flexibility/compatibility – the Power PMAC is a motion controller and computer rolled up in one; this multi-tasking machine gives users the cost effectiveness of controlling different machines with one product; High performance – with its advanced servo and kinematic algorithms, the Power PMAC allows users to be more competitive and profitable; Simulink® with Power PMAC – facilitating user-servo code generation for Power PMAC using Simulink’s embedded coder; the objective is to fully automate code generation for Power PMAC’s servo loop closure routines utilising Simulink’s control blocks; Linux OS Plus Windows IDE – Power PMAC runs on Linux, an open-source, public-domain operating system with Xenomai real-time kernel; Power PMAC supports IEC 61131-3 – the IEC 61131-3 standard defines a common framework for programming PLCs (programmable logic controllers), which includes the complete definition of four programming languages and a state machine definition language; and Sophisticated firmware – Power PMAC includes five built-in control algorithms as well as many other sophisticated features.
