Bosch Rexroth (India) Ltd, ?The Drive & Control Company?, offers its controller-based control system IndraMotion MLC in a new version combining motion and logic control with robot control on a uniform platform. In addition to the 32-axis solution, IndraControl L65 now provides a more powerful device version with 64 axes for all applications with high motion control requirements. IndraMotion MLC, a motion logic system that has already been successfully introduced on the market, is now available in a new version, which has been expanded by ?robot control? and new functions for path interpolation in space. Ready-to-use kinematics for Delta, SCARA and Cartesian robots with appropriate transformations and the integrated conveyor synchronization allow implementation of corresponding applications. In addition to PLC programming with ?Robot Control Language? (RCL), which complies with IEC 61131-3 standards, the engineering framework IndraWorks provides a text-based editor for sequential programming of robot control applications including compiler and debugger. To meet complex motion requirements, the cam disk functionality, which comprises more than 25 analytical motion laws and an extended library with function blocks, has been expanded by the option of processing segmented motion profiles and operating master axes under time control. An expanded version of ?CamBuilder? which is integrated in IndraWorks allows graphical configuration of these highly flexible motion profiles. The IndraControl L65 control platform is a powerful hardware version permitting synchronisation of up to 64 axes. This control platform uses Ethernet-based SERCOS III as standard drive interface and for controlling the master axis network. Another new system function of IndraMotion MLC is the control of hydraulic drives.
