Batching Controller

Microedge Electronics offers a batching controller. This is a micro controller based unit, which accepts input from a maximum of 4 load cells in parallel and, controls batching of up to 6 components. A high speed ADC capable of 1 in 10,000 external counts is used for measuring the weight. Opto isolated open collector outputs are provided for controlling single/dual speed feeding arrangement for the 6 components. Opto isolated inputs are available for start, discharge, etc. Batching parameters like coarse set point, target set point, in-flight, etc., for each component can be programmed through the four keys provided in the front panel. A separate menu is provided for calibration of the weighing system. Data on the number of batches and the cumulative weight of each ingredient is displayed on pressing a function key. PC software for creating and downloading recipes, monitoring the batching process, collecting batch data and generating reports is available as an option. A complete control panel based on the batching controller with relays, mimic and push buttons can also be supplied.
