Marsh Bellofram BelGAS Division Introduces High-Reliability Back Pressure Regulator SeriesThe BelGAS division of Marsh Bellofram Corporation, a member of the Marsh Bellofram Group of Companies, has introduced the Type P289, a high-performance industry Back Pressure Regulator, also functioning as a high-flow relief valve with an adjustable set point, in support of a variety of oil and gas related applications. The compact Type P289 back pressure regulator may be used in place of a standard relief valve to provide protection against over pressurization in the downstream system. With its large diaphragm area and integral Pitot tube booster, the regulator is designed for quick and smooth response to excessive pressure relief requirements, particularly within low-pressure settings. The simple design of the Type P289 allows for high reliability with high flow rates, throttling-type relief and tight shutoff. Optional regulator rebuild kits are also available. With its versatility and exceptional performance characteristics, the Type P289 is ideal for fuel gas relief, gas gathering relief and downstream system pressure control applications.
