EL-O-Matic International, a leading manufacturer of system compatible products for flow control, has announced availability of its new EDP/ ESP Pneumatic Rack and Pinion Rotary Actuator for high cycle, trouble-free use in highly corrosive process environments. Impervious to most chemicals, acids, saltwater, washdown, airborne pollutants, vapours and other corrosive elements, EDP/ESP actuators feature a compact corrosion resistant, polyurethane housing and end caps with rugged, durable stainless steel shaft and external hardware. EDP/ESP actuators are available as single or double acting models, handle torques from 350 to 4000 1b. inch and temperatures from -4? to 155?F. Full length stainless steel rods and nuts offer secure metal-to-metal end-cap bolting and carbon filling eliminates possible static discharge.
