Rotary Airlock

Pneutrans Engineering offers Rotary Airlocks. The rotary airlocks and feeders are available in cast iron, MS, stainless steel and a combination of these. These are uniquely designed for a wide variety of applications. Rotary airlocks are excellent equipment for gravity fed applications as metering devices or to hold vacuum or pressure in a system, while metering out required quantity of material. Special designs are available to cater to the pneumatic conveying applications. Pellets and chips, especially in plastic industry can be handled without the product being affected (shearing, jamming of chips) by special designs. Pneutrans airlocks are available with round inlets. Fabricated versions are offered with square and rectangular inlets and outlets. Special designs are available to handle special materials (alkali cellulose, etc). Special designs include, closed end rotors, bevelled rotors, tapered rotors, high capacity twin rotor designs. Sizes range from 150 to 600 mm.
