Pneumatic Boosting System

Amis' has been deeply involved in "industrial pneumatics" for over 22 years now, specialising in engineering, design and fabrication of low cost automation systems for various applications. These systems use pneumatics and/or hydraulics fluid power. Some of the systems designed and fabricated are: life testing rigs ? for checking wear on guides of ice buckets for big size double door refrigerators, for springs of white goods like ovens, refrigerators, washing machines, etc; pressure testing equipment ? non-ferrous tubes from 1/2" OD ? 100 mm OD and 4-6 metre long pipes; automatic transportation ? of 20-80 mm OD tubes in lengths of 22 metres on PU rollers for marking and non-destructive testing (NDT). Here, tubes are spread on a sloping platform and are picked up one by one and transported on PU rollers and moved forward by sets of pinch rollers driven by VFD. The tubes move at required speed adjusted through VFD and marking is done by an inkjet printer on the OD of the tube. Similarly the tubes are passed through an "Eddy Current Coil" for testing. This system uses a PLC, VFD as well as pneumatic cylinders for accomplishing the above activities. Pneumatic rapping system ? this system has been developed as an import substitute against the German system to shake the suit from pipes in the boiler. This is done using PLC and pneumatic cylinders, solenoid valves and various accessories, etc; pneumatic booster system ? this system has been designed to boost the air pressure where the factory air pressure is low and cannot operate a particular machine. Here the factory air is utilised to boost the air pressure by ratios of 2 and feed it to a receiver. This boosted air from the receiver is used for a particular machine so that it works satisfactorily. These are few examples of various projects handled by the company.
