Hydraulic Oils

ExxonMobil Lubricants offers a range of Hydraulic Oils. Two thirds of all hydraulic failures are the result of contamination or wrong fluid selection. Most hydraulic oils pass the basic industry standard tests. These standard tests are useful but do not represent real operational environments because water is present in all hydraulic systems. Mobil DTE 20 series hydraulic oils have a `super-stabilised’ antiwear additive that does not breakdown in the presence of relatively high concentrations of water. To evaluate the effectiveness of Mo bil DTE 20 series, a Mobil proprietary lab test (Mobil hydraulic field durability test) predicts and replicates the conditions of a severe service hydraulic system. In the test hydraulic fluids are evaluated in the presence of water proving that Mobil DTE 20 series hydraulic oils are superior. Mobil hydraulic oils in the presence of water will deliver: improved antiwear properties, reduced filter blocking, consistent pressure levels, reduced sticking of servo valves, longer hydraulic oil life. Mobil DTE gives reduced filter blocking, reduced pump wear and longer service life.
