Hydraulic Power Pack

Malik Engineers design and manufacture Hydraulic Power Pack suitable for any process, to accomplish linear or rotary movements in machine control. The hydraulic power pack constitutes the heart of many hydraulically operated machines like hydraulic presses, robots, injection moulding machines, pressure die casting machines and extrusion presses, etc., all of which utilise linear (hydraulic cylinder) or rotary (hydraulic motor) actuators to perform their functions. The hydraulic power pack includes a suitable oil reservoir with the pump either mounted inside the oil tank or fitted on the top of tank with motor and coupling arrangement. Direction valves, flow control valves, relief valves are used for controlling the direction of motion, speed and output force or torque of the actuator respectively. All valves are mounted on ground manifold block for simple mounting and ease of servicing. The oil tank is made out of thick gauge mild steel sheet and the top plate is made out of solid steel plate which serves as a foundation for the motor & pump, manifold block and valves, etc. Pressure gauge for indication of hydraulic system pressure is provided as standard on all power packs. Valves can either be manually operated and controlled, or can be controlled through solenoids (for remote or automated controls). In the latter case, separate electrical and electronic control panel is provided for push-button control of the actuator as well as to control sequence of operating of several actuators provided in the system. Standard power packs are suitable to run at system pressure of maximum 160 Kg/cm2 (bars). Hydraulically operated machines have the benefit of providing high force and torque output in compact space, offer smooth and stepless control of speed of actuators, are automatically protected against overloads (excess oil drains back to tank when system pressure reaches set value) and working elements are automatically lubricated by the working fluid thus wear & tear is reduced to minimum, and are simple to operate and maintain.
