Hydraulic Hinged Mast / Pole

Presently electric poles are fabricated from mild steel in octagonal/round shape and are erected along the streets, road medians and the pavements. Each electric pole needs to be maintained for replacement of lamps whenever they are defective and also for the cleaning of lamp area for sharper reflection of light. The usual maintenance process involves hiring of the hydra/crane-mounted vehicle, which gets stationed below the pole and a person reaches the luminary area for maintenance purposes. It involves disruption of traffic, thereby, causing inconvenience to the public. The problem is further aggravated where the road space is restricted. The usage of vehicle-mounted crane/hydra involves hiring cost or investment in purchasing the same. In addition, 3 to 4 persons are required to carry out the repair work. To cut down the cost of the mast/pole and to add value to the investment of the client, Senzo Engineering Pvt Ltd has come out with a unique mast/pole for the first time in India, where the winch assembly is not required. The mast/pole can be tilted to ground level and maintained by a maximum of two persons having a small mobile hydraulic unit. This pole is a new engineering design aimed at creating maintenance free system and replacing the age-old mobile crown at an attractive price. On an average, one such pole can be serviced in about 8 to 10 minutes. Hence, two persons can handle the maintenance of about 50 poles per day in 8 hours shift, a huge savings in the cost of mobile crown system involving winch, power tool, steel wire rope, etc.
