Hydraulic Cylinders

Pressform Industries offers Hydraulic Cylinders. The tubes are seamless type, bored and micro honed for long life and seals. Piston rods are made of medium carbon steel, machined, ground and hard chrome plated for long seal life and for corrosion resistance. The piston is made of high grade cast iron with long bearing area. The piston guide is made of high grade cast iron with long bearing area. This houses the wiper seal also. Seals: piston seal is made is of canvas impregnated rubber "U" seal; and ram seal is of canvas impregnated rubber chevron "V" seal set. Head and cap end covers are made of steel materials. This holds the static "O" rings. Tie rods are made of medium carbon steel with hexagonal nuts. Cushioning can be provided at either or both ends. Adjustable needle valve design provides fine cushioning.
