Electrohydraulics

Atos “explosion proof” electrohydraulics is widely used in typical hazardous applications with presence of flammable gas and dust such as oil and gas, mining and energy industries. Atos makes available a wide range of directional, pressure and flow controls for any of the above applications, also with ex-proof integral transducer and driver. The photo shows ex-proof servoproportional directional valves equipped with integral LVDT spool position transducer and digital electronic driver with fieldbus interface. Atos proportional solenoids and transducers, suitable for high performance operation, are from original design and they have been jointly developed with the valves for the best functionality and modularity. They are designed to contain the explosion inside the enclosure and to limit their external temperature in order to avoid self- ignition of the explosive mixture in the environment. They are certified according to: ATEX 94/9/CE directive – EN 60079 standards, protection mode – Ex II 2GD Exd IIC T6 Ex tD A21 IP67 for surface plants with gas and dust environment and Ex I M2 Exd I for mining plants; IECEx scheme – IEC60079 standards, protection mode Exd IIC T6 Ex tD A21 IP67; CULUS listed – UL 1002 and CSA 22.2 n° 139 Standards, Class I, Groups C&D; and Gost-R-ROSTEKHNADSOR Russian Certification for Group II gas environment. Atos Ex-proof electrohydraulics is SIL3 certified (Safety Integrity Level) and withstands a wide range of ambient temperature from -40°C up to +70°C.
