Cylinders

Global Hydraulics offers Cylinders. This essentially consists of a piston located in a tubular housing and a piston rod passing through one of the end covers. The ports provided in the end covers permit entry and return of hydraulic oil. These cylinders are made of following items: tube - cold drawn seamless steel tubes, which are bored and finish honed to a surface finish between 0.2 to 0.4 Microns, of ST-52, ASTM duty; piston rod made of medium carbon steel or case hardened steels (such as En8, En1A), hardened, grounded and hard chrome plated to avoid wear and corrosion; piston - one piece construction, precision machined to Seal"s dimensions; end covers - mild steels, accurately machined according to the seals used; seals - Busak-Shamban, Merkel, Hallite - Germany, NOK - Japan, PTFE/ canvas reinforced nitrile rut and for high temperature, viton seals, hard wearing nitrile lip type wiper are used; tie rods and nuts - medium carbon steel tie rods with hexagonal nuts and spring washers; ports - unrestricted BSP, metric ports as per BIS, ISO and CETOP standards; and cushioning can be provided at the two ends to avoid damaging of components due to impact with adjustable needle valve which provides fine cushioning of piston movements. Features: range - bore size diameter 25 to 300 mm; stroke up to 2000 mm; working pressure - 315 kg/cm2 max; and construction - tie rod, welded, bolted, threaded.
