Adjustable Stroke Cylinder

Shashwat Systems offers special purpose Adjustable Stroke Cylinder with 30 to 35% adjustment in stroke with cushioning. This type of cylinder finds application in plastic injection moulding machines where moulded goods are picked up by robots. This helps in exact positioning of moulds with respect to robot pick up device to ensure trouble free functioning of system as well as reducing the cycle time by adjustment of travel. Mostly these are custom built cylinders designed and manufactured to suit special requirements of clients to meet different system parameters. Range: bore – up to 600 mm; stroke – up to 5000 mm; pressure – up to 160, 250, 400 bar. Construction features: suitable for heavy-duty applications up to 160 kg/cm2 and 250 kg/cm2; available bore sizes – 40, 50, 63, 80, 90, 100, 125, 140, 160, 180, 200, 220, 240 and 260 mm; welded construction for rigidity; surface finish of micro honed tubes – 0.4 Ra or better; piston rods-ground, hard chrome plated and re-ground to finish better than 0.1 Ra for longer seal life; finely adjustable cushioning with locking arrangements; provision of bleed screw at both ends; and option of minimum two rod sizes. Design features: piston rods of EN-19 material; rod bearing-extra long cartridge houses wiper seal and non-metallic high abrasion resistant wear bands; rod seals of high abrasion resistant and durable PTFE compound; piston seals of high abrasion resistant and durable PTFE compound; piston bearing non metallic; high abrasion resistant wear bands; double lip wiper of nitrile rubber to prevent entry of foreign particles into the cylinder, etc.
