Screw Compressors

Indostan Corporation offers Deno Screw Compressors that are specially designed for the harsh operation conditions often seen in the marine industry. Reliability and easy maintenance have been the key items during the design and development stages of the Deno screw compressor range. Reliability is achieved by a well balanced design for the used components, such as the air ends and its rotors, special bearing tine up, high efficiency air inlet filters and high efficiency separators. Easy maintenance is achieved by using a minimum amount of parts in the compressor package. All parts for inspection and maintenance are easily accessible for the operator by opening the quick release panel of the canopy. Cooling of the compressor and the compressed air is achieved through a high performance cooling system, in combination with the integrated lubrication system. This allows the compressor to operate even under ambient conditions of up to 55°C. Water-cooled compressors are of course also available. Construction advantages: for air ends: the innovative 5-6 lobe profile; low noise level; better rotor positions; longer bearing life, inside 7 bearings for axial and radial forces; high efficiency motor IP55 insulation class F; and standard volt free contacts for remote start stop and common alarm signal. High efficiency separation system: the high efficiency separation system is divided into 3 stages – centrifugal at collision and coalescent. This allows that the residual percentage of oil in the compressed air is lower than 3 ppm, with a pressure loss not higher than 0.4 bar. The special design of the centrifugal and collision pre-separation systems has reduced the dimensions and increased life and performance of the coalescent filter.
