Testo India offers Dewpoint Analysers / Transmitters. The models available Testo 6740, Testo 6781 and Testo 6782.

Testo 6740
The Testo 6740 was especially developed for trace humidity measurement in compressed or dry air (eg: Granulate dryers). The result of the development of the Testo 6740 is a measuring range of -45 °Ctd to +30 °Ctd and excellent accuracy.

For the display of the relevant trace humidity parameters, a freely scalable analog output is available, optionally with a switch contact plug for MAX monitoring. In addition to this, the Testo 6740 stands out thanks to its compact and user-friendly design, such as the rotatability of the housing by 350° for the optimum positioning of the display.

Testo 6781
The transmitter Testo 6781 was developed specially for trace humidity measurement in compressed air and in dry air (e. g. in granulate dryers). The international norm ISO 8573 categorizes seven classes of compressed air. High-performance adsorption dryers are required in order to meet the highest quality classes 1 & 2. They can be monitored by the Testo 6781 down to very low dewpoints of -90 °Ctd.

The newly developed sensor with sol-gel technology is characterized by its condensation-proofness and fast response time, thus guaranteeing highest process security.

Testo 6782 – trace humidity monitoring with new Sol-Gel technology
The Testo 6782 transmitter combined with the exchangeable digital testo 6716 trace humidity probe is used to monitor dewpoints at temperatures down to -90 °Ctd in areas with a risk of explosion. The Sol-Gel sensor of the probe created from nanotechnology applies the excellent long-term stability and accuracy of the tried and tested Testo humidity sensor to the measurement of trace humidity. The basic design of this sensor has been maintained and specially adapted to measuring low dewpoint temperatures with the help of the Sol-Gel technology. What is referred to as the Sol-Gel layer is used as the humidity-sensitive medium. The dielectricity of this layer changes according to the dewpoint temperature, thereby altering the capacity of the sensor.
