Medo USA's linear motor driven, free piston air compressor/pump has received component recognition under UL 2601. The system converts electrical energy into a pulsating magnetic field which moves the piston through its stroke. Applications include dialysis machines, blood analysers, liquid level controls, and robotics. Weighing as little as 1.5 lb, the compressor/pump features controlled air generation, maintenance-free operation, low power consumption, a single moving part, oil-free operation, and low noise and vibration.
