PSA Nitrogen Gas Plant

The PSA Nitrogen Generator is an on-site generation of low cost nitrogen.

Principle: The Nitrogen gas is produced from atmospheric air using Molecular Sieves separation technique. It uses Carbon Molecular Sieves which preferentially removes oxygen from air.

Nitrogen Generators consists of 2-adsorption coloumns filled with Carbon Molecular Sieves. When compressed air is passed, Nitrogen comes out as product gas from one bed while other bed is simulataneously regenerated by depressurization to atmospheric pressure. This process is called "Pressure Swing Adsorption (PSA)".

Collaboration Veecon IPA designs & manufactures PSA N₂ VGen in collabration with Kuraray Chemical Co. Ltd. Japan, which is a 60 years old company and leading manufacturer of Carbon Molecular Services (CMS). Some of the key features of Kuraray CMS are:

• Adsoptivity of O₂ is more as compared to others.
• Crushing strength is very high.
• The air consumption is less as compared to other CMS resulting in lower generation cost.
• Fluidization of Kuraray CMC nerve occurs, hence no toppinjg up is required.
• Kuraray CMS can deliver N₂ at high pressure resulting in lower storage tank capacities.
• Kuraray CMS gives consistent purity.
