The PSA Nitrogen Gas Generator produces nitrogen gas from compressed air using molecular sieve separation technique. Carbon Molecular Sieves are used, which have the ability, to preferentially remove oxygen, from air. Nitrogen generator consists of 2- 'tower beds' filled with Carbon Molecular Sieves. When compressed air is passed through one bed, Nitrogen comes out as product gas. Simultaneously, the other 'towel bed' is regenerated by de-pressurization to atmospheric pressure. This process is called pressure swing adsorption (PSA). This is microprocessor based fully Automatic unit. Advantages: automatic start/stop; start up time is only 5- minutes; nitrogen gas supply always under your control; very low cost of production as compared to commercially available nitrogen cylinders; PSA nitrogen plant investment is paid back in 1 to 3 years time; high reliability to run-un-attended; carbon molecular sieves life is around 15 years and virtually maintenance free.
