Ozone Generators

Universal ozone system offers Ozone Generator. It is ideal for a wide variety of industrial, household and medical applications. Ozone is an unstable molecule and quickly converts back to oxygen. Hence it cannot be easily stored in containers - it is commercially produced on site, by passing dry air or oxygen through a high voltage dielectric barrier (or corona) discharge. Salient features: reliable, time-tested ozone technology; higher ozone output per kilowatt of input power; ozone production at a low voltage of 6000 to 8000 V, lowers electrical stress; precision glass dielectrics, do not require periodic replacement; high frequency operation, compact design; user friendly controls makes operation easy; efficient cooling reduces thermal stresses and increases ozone production; short circuit protection on high voltage electrodes; protection against accidental ingress of dust or moisture; optional PLC based control for remote operation and monitoring; minimum maintenance, and low cost. Technology of ozone generation: the feed gas (dry air or pure oxygen) is passed through two electrodes separated by a precise gap and a high quality glass dielectric. High frequency high voltage discharge in the electrode gap converts a fraction of the feed into ozone. Heat is generated at the two electrodes in the process.
