On Site Nitrogen Gas Generator

Adsortech Engineers Pvt Ltd offers an On-Site Nitrogen Generator. This is an apparatus that sieves out oxygen from pure compressed air allowing nitrogen to flow as product gas. It works on adsorption principal which is adhesion of molecules in compressed air to the surface of an adsorbent, in this case carbon molecular sieves (CMS). Adsorbtech on-site nitrogen generator employs an air compressor, a compressed air treatment 'CAT' unit for purifying compressed air and a set of adsorption towers filled with CMS, int erconnected with auto operating valves and a surge vessel. Pure compressed air is subjected to a set of adsorption towers, each filled with CMS, in here oxygen gets preferentially adsorbed-on the surface of carbon molecular sieves (CMS) and nitrogen leaves the vessel at the top, as product. While one adsorber vessel is in adsorption (nitrogen generation) cycle, the other is auto regenerating by exhausting the pressure to atmosphere in a controlled manner, hereby the adsorbed oxygen-molecules are discharged to the air. When the first vessel is saturated, the process direction is switched. Now the first adsorber is regenerated, while the second one is adsorbing.
