Gas/Smoke Detector System

Abhitron India, an ISO 9001: 2008 certified company, manufactures low-medium-high type Gas/Smoke Detectors with 55 LED bargraph which reads three coloured zones, i.e., green (15 LEDs, 0-100 PPM), yellow (15 LEDs, 0-100 PPM) and red (20 LEDs, 500-1000 PPM), and also as per customers’ requirements with calibration certification, along with five leaks registered LEDs for throughput. These operate on 230 V AC or 6 V DC. It has a selectable slide switch for audio-visual built in solid-state buzzer with green (low), yellow (medium), red (high) LED indicator to find out leakage of gas/fume/vapour. Calibration setting is given on the front panel with reset push switch. This instrument is absolutely in kit-form and does need any kind of installation training; the customers can do the installation on their own with the help of the instruction manual. It has facility to function as a five-gas detector remotely with independent register alarm LED - latching. The instrument is provided with 6 V battery back-up and a remote alarm/mute with 50 seconds timer and has the facility of switching On/Off any kind of process like valve shutting, switching on the fan, etc., with the help of NO/NC contact box. A visual bargraph indication shows increase and decrease in concentration without using the audio alarm. It detects more than 300 hazardous gases such as LPG, smoke hydrocarbons, ammonia, hexane, hydrogen, sulphur dioxide, acetone, benzene, alcohols, esters and around 100 inorganic gases and many more. These detectors can be used for the detection of smoke, also as a environment detector, air pollution monitor for hotels, computer rooms, hospital, chemical and fertilizer plants, etc. With the lights indicator, this acts like analog meter, which indicates 0 percent to100 percent LEL (lower explosive limit), the only gas detector with bargraph facility in India, which has its specialty, and one can read its concentration from a far distance to take immediate action.
