Victory Gas Alarm Company offers a Hand Held Digital Electronic Gas Indicator/Detector, Model Victory 700. When any combustible gas kike LPG petroleum vapour, hydro carbons, carbon monoxide, spirit fumes in the air reach above a critical level, the instrument will automatically operate to give a digital display directly proportional to the concentration of the gas. Specifications: housed in an intrinsically safe enclosure and conforming to IS-5780/1980; power source – 6 V DC rechargeable batteries (built-in); battery life – 5000 charging cycles (approx); autonomy (one charge) – 1400 readings of 10 sec each; power consumption – 250 mA; operation temperature – 10 C to 75 C; operation humidity – 5 to 95%; operation range – 0.0 to 100% LEL; instrument carrying case – provided; principle – catalytic combustion method; sampling method – automatic diffusion; accuracy – 5% of full scale; response time – within 15 sec at 90% response; and audio alarm – electronic piezo buzzer.
