Gas Detector With Local Digital Display

Worldwide Safety Devices offers a Gas Detector with Local Digital Display for hydrocarbon and toxic gas detection. Model SE-279 is a gas detector with 3-1/2-digit local LCD display adopting high-quality catalytic and electrochemical gas sensor for detecting combustible (% LEL) and toxic gas (PPM) in ambient air. It adopts a 4-20 mA output and digital display with respect to the concentration of the gas. It provides a digital readout directly proportional to the current input. The indicator is calibrated at factory to read 0 to 100 %LEL or PPM for a 4~20 mA input. Recalibration is easily accomplished through the use of trim pots. The span and zero pots are non-interactive and provide resolutions better than 1 count decimal point. It adopts an output of 4-20 mA three-line electric current signal, which has advantages of long-distance transmission to the gas monitor controller unit or PLC /DCS and SCADA. The mounting of gas sensor with hole JB (JB approved by CMRI, CCOE and BIS) with proper separate flame-path having gas sensor made of SS 316. The sensor housing is flameproof, approved by ATEX, of cylindrical shape involving no free space accumulation of any flammable gas/vapour rendering the enclosure as flameproof/waterproof. Gas detectors in cast aluminium alloy LM6 are good for outdoor installations. An endless neoprene rubber gasket is placed over the flange outside the effective flame path for IP-55 ingress projection. The external entry certified double compression type cable gland size ¾” BSP.
