Gas Detection System

Subtronics (India), an ISO 9001:2000 certified company, has introduced its latest “three status” gas monitoring system, Model 3ST-CH1 digital. This versatile micro controller based unit has three indicators – low, medium and high indicating the level of gas in ppm or percentage. The programming, calibration and operation of the instrument are done by four feather touch keys and displays the current gas content on bright character LCD display. The operation of the instrument is menu driven with user understandable prompts. All the important settings are password protected to avoid infiltration. Some features include three status display, alarm latching facility, software selection of common alarm point, common potential-free NO/NC contact, internal alarm with external siren output to grab extra attention, front panel calibration, soft feather touch keys, RS232 output for data logging or computer connectivity, test switch for periodic testing. The front of the controller unit is sealed with membrane to with stand dusty environment and is housed in robust metallic enclosure. This equipment can be connected to CMRI and DGFAS and LI, CCE, ISI, TAC approved flameproof and weather-proof gas detectors, and is essentially used in plants for long life span. Gas detectors are available for more than 300 gases and calibrated as per users requirement.
