Ambetronics Engineers offers a CO₂ Gas Detector. The company is a manufacturer of pollution and process monitoring instruments for Carbon dioxide gas, either in process stream or ambient air to detect PPM level or % level for human safety/environments safety. The instrument is available in wall or panel mounting version with latest user-friendly micro-controller technology with long life sensors. It uses infrared measuring principle (NDIR) dual beam technology, with measurement and reference channel with integrated evaluation electronics for drift and temperature compensation. It is very compact in size and light in weight, can cover range from 0-5000 PPM, 0-5 Vol %, 0-20 Vol %. The detection principle is by diffusion. The response time less then 25 seconds and overall accuracy of 2% upper range value. The calibration is done by software. The warm up time is less 2 minutes from the power on. CO₂ gas detector is widely used in duct system, indoor ventilation system, securing devices of combustors, air conditioning system and environment management system. Applications are in safety engineering (acetylene C₂H₂, butane C4H10, propane C₃H₈, carbon monoxide CO), bio- and medical engineering (carbon dioxide CO₂); food industry (carbon dioxide CO₂, methane CH₄, ammonia NH₃); building system engineering – gas warning devices (methane CH₄, butane C₄H₁₀) and demand-driven accommodation airing (carbon dioxide CO₂); and cooling technology/refrigerants (R134a, NH₃, R22, etc).
